Smart Cities Dive is accepting nominations for the Smart Cities Dive Community Project Awards, which celebrate transformative projects that address community challenges. These awards highlight projects solving real community needs through innovative use of resources and technology. They are a continuation of the American City & County Crown Communities Award following last year’s merger between AC&C and Smart Cities Dive.
How to Nominate a Project
It’s free to apply using the Smart Cities Dive Community Project Awards nomination form.
The deadline for nominations is July 10.
We are looking for projects that identify a problem or need and address it, showing:
· Innovation
· Effective use of resources/good return on investment
· Community response or impact
· Technology integration
· Sustainability/resilience
· Replicability
· Long-term viability
Please include one or more high-resolution/publication-ready photos of the project and the person or team responsible for it where possible. Photos should be in color, horizontal orientation, high-resolution and uncropped. For more information and examples of acceptable photo submissions, please review these guidelines. If you don't have a Google account, please send the photo or photos as an email attachment to [email protected] with the subject line “Community Project Photo” and the project name.
